Yellowstone Bear World

Bear World is a popular tourist attraction just 5 miles south of Rexburg.  Here you can see bears, moose, elk, and grey wolves all from the safety of your vehicle. Rigby Lake

Offically named Jefferson County Lake (the name was changed recently, but most people still call it Rigby Lake) is a popular place to go swimming and boating.  Admission is $5 per vehicle, so load your friends in your car, split the cost, and you can enjoy a day at the lake for about a dollar. Heise Hot Springs

The Heise Hot Springs has a pool, golf course and campground. The 92 degree pool has a 350-foot water slide. There is also a 105 degree mineral pool.   Admission is $9.00  per person and the water slide is an extra charge (see price list below for details). Funland (in Tautphas Park)

Tautphaus Zoo

Tautphaus Zoo (Pronounced Tut-fass)  is open April 1  through the end of October.  It’s a great little zoo, and is home for over 100 different kinds of animals.  It’s not a huge zoo, but it’s a worthwhile trip, and makes for a good out-of-the-box date or outing with friends. The Spud Drive-In
