Art Museum of Eastern Idaho

Just south of the historic downtown area, is the Art museum of Eastern Idaho.  The museum features local artists, as well as rotating exhibits. Admission is $4 for adults and $2 for youth (6-18). The Greenbelt in Idaho Falls

Idaho Falls has nearly 6 miles devoted to parkway along the Snake River.  The waterfalls along the Green Belt are the namesake for Idaho Falls. Funland (in Tautphas Park)

Tautphaus Zoo

Tautphaus Zoo (Pronounced Tut-fass)  is open April 1  through the end of October.  It’s a great little zoo, and is home for over 100 different kinds of animals.  It’s not a huge zoo, but it’s a worthwhile trip, and makes for a good out-of-the-box date or outing with friends. Idaho Falls Temple Visitor’s Center

The Idaho Falls Temple is closed as of March 16, 2015. It is scheduled to reopen in October, 2016. Though Rexburg has its own temple, the Visitor’s Center at the Idaho Falls Temple, makes a great Family Night activity.
