Rigby Lake

Offically named Jefferson County Lake (the name was changed recently, but most people still call it Rigby Lake) is a popular place to go swimming and boating.  Admission is $5 per vehicle, so load your friends in your car, split the cost, and you can enjoy a day at the lake for about a dollar. Heise Hot Springs

The Heise Hot Springs has a pool, golf course and campground. The 92 degree pool has a 350-foot water slide. There is also a 105 degree mineral pool.   Admission is $9.00  per person and the water slide is an extra charge (see price list below for details). The Sand Bar

The Sand Bar in St. Anthony is a little public park next to the river.  It’s called the Sand Bar because there’s  a strip of sand (that I assume was imported from the Sand Dunes) along the bank of the river.  There’s a diving board and a water slide, and best of all it’s free! Continue »

Just 5 miles outside of town is a free campground called Beaver Dick Park.  Beaver Dick Park is a popular gathering place among college students, for bon-fires, camping, and water sports. Monkey Rock

Monkey Rock Monkey Rock is a popular swimming hole, about 20 minutes outside of Rexburg.  Marked with a beautiful waterfall and pleasant waters.
